The Fundació Mies van der Rohe true to its commitment to architecture, society and culture supports the Cities Connection Project.

On 14th of November the Pavilion Mies van der Rohe will open the doors to receive the architects participating in the two exhibitions, _Import GENEVA and _Export BARCELONA, and the representatives from Barcelona’s City Council (Ajuntament de Barcelona). The event will be followed by the official Presentation of _Export BARCELONA taking place in February 2015.

As the Director of Fundació Mies van de Rohe, Giovanna Carnevali, said “This is a great opportunity for the Fundació to show its support for this project, launched and led by young architects from Barcelona, and to encourage them to continue this great adventure of connecting Barcelona with other European cities”.

The Fundació highlights that swiss architecture has a great reputation, thanks to its technical detail, the creativity of its practitioners and the influence of its schools. Therefore, Giovanna Carnevali has no doubt that Swiss architecture belongs within European culture, and as she told to CCP founders “we must not forget that architecture is a great ambassador of culture”.
